A road trip is basically a long distance journey on the road, one that exposes you to several gems in a limited period of time. The best way to explore a number of beautiful gems in Uganda is road tripping, you get to see very many gems, including the hidden ones in a very short time.

Assuming the traveler planned to visit Kidepo valley national park, this safari would become more interesting if it’s a road trip, it will give him all the flexibility to visit the close off beaten destinations including even the ones that were not planned.

Talking of visiting the source of then Nile in Jinja, the Sipi falls in Kapchorwa district and the Nyero rock paintings. How about a relaxed stop in Mbale town before you continue to Kidepo. Likewise to any other destination, be it Murchison falls national park, Queen Elizabeth national park or a safari to see the chimps in Kibale forest national park.

Several travelers on Uganda safaris prefer booking with tour operators, but the best way one would explore most of Uganda’s beautiful gems, is getting behind the wheel of a car and drive to your dream destination.

A road trip gives travelers full authority of their safari in Uganda. No one to control the departure time, arrival time, itineraries and stop overs along the way, it is all in the travelers charge.
